PURE ONYX is an adult beat 'em up RPG for Windows PC.
The game is currently in development on SubscribeStar, but we're providing this alternative access to our test releases for those who may have issues subscribing.
Please be aware of the following!
- This purchase will not be updated monthly
- This is not early access for the final retail product
- New monthly releases will appear on our Itch profile as they become available
Changelog
- Added Onyx + Brute Lift scene (Rough and Vanilla variations) to gameplay and gallery
- Added torn/damaged clothing models for Onyx's default gear visuals.
- Added clothing durability system (replaces simple # of hit-based system for clothing dmg)
- Rebalanced clothing damage rate for new durability system. Enviro / low damage sources reduce durability slower than before (it was very fast with their high attack rate), while strong hits damage it faster.
- Upgraded damage flow code (backend)
- Upgraded enemy navigation so that they are more aware of Onyx's location, preventing them from walking long distances after Onyx had already repositioned.
- Fixed skinning issues on the flaps on Onyx's T4 jacket
- Fixed flat nipples on Onyx brute lift scene and knockdown anims
- Fixed missing corrective blendshapes (shoulder clipping) on some animations for T4 shirt and T0 damaged shirt
- Fixed clipping on Onyx's T4 shorts during Vioreaper struggle scenes
- Fixed portion of Onyx + Brute Lift scene where Brute is standing perfectly still
- Fixed previously unreported blendshape issues on Onyx's tier 2 shorts during H scenes
- Fixed clipping during combat animations and some H scenes for Onyx's Tier 4 jacket
- Fixed Onyx's braids clipping with T2 and T4 jacket during world map scene
- Added wind animation to Onyx's T4 jacket during world map scene
- Fixed interaction cursor sound playing when shop opens

Greetings devs,
I'm hoping you can help me with finding out how to launch this game. I thought I had it figured out, but no luck.
I ended up getting the itch.io launcher and it looked like it was about to work. After several false starts, it would error out and crash displaying the pure-onyx - Unity 2019.4.34f1_6a9faed444f2 alert.
I have tried many suggestions such as updating my drivers on my graphics cards, disabling firewall settings to allow itch access to the internet from my device, and uninstalling and reinstalling to several different locations on my device. Using the itch.io launcher I was able to see that there was a warning that popped up stating that the game was not paid for and that I would have to get an official copy to be able to run it.
My credit card is showing the payment to ITCH.IO - GAME STORE SAN FRANCISCO CA 94114 USA, and I have a confirmation email from itch.io stating "Thank you for purchasing 'Pure Onyx-Alpha Release November 2024" with my payment amount and a download link.
I'm not sure what else to do, but can anyone help with figuring this out? I've already paid for this beautiful game and just want to play it. Huge fan of the art style and the game play. Reminds me a lot of some beat em ups I played as a kid but with super hot scenes.
Hey there! I don't have experience with the itch.io launcher. Our game actually runs from the folder, so it doesn't really require installation, and trying to install it to a read only location would cause issues.
I would suggest going to "My Library" (click the down arrow in the top right of the site next to your username to find it), and clicking the red "Download" button beneath the game name. Once downloaded, try moving the zip file to your Desktop and unzipping > moving the folder out of the zip archive and onto the desktop. Run pure-onyx.exe from that folder.
If this doesn't work or results in the same issue, can you see if a log file was created and send them to us at eromancergames@gmail.com?

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Eromancer\pure-onyx

is there any other app or website in which i will be able to purchase this game, will you guys release this game on steam?
We currently are on SubscribeStar and Fansly as well. For retail we plan on releasing on Steam and other sites.
The next release will be sometime around Jan 2 :D (and will be called the December 2024 release). The releases appear on SubscribeStar around the last day of the month, hence the naming being a month behind.
There will be quite a few additional attacks for Onyx! We've posted concepts for some of the combos / combo finishers / specials in the past ^-^. Currently the animator that will be handling the next Onyx iteration is working on the next boss and some additional enemies, then will be working on her moves.
Hey i bought this back in 2023. I can not get the update. It wants me to purchase it again. But i also noticed they raised the price. I am all for supporting people with good games. That is why when it releases to steam i purchase it at full price there. I don't like being nickle and dimed at every corner.

Okay well it is a good game. I do think you did an awesome job. Reminds me of the old fighter games from back in the day. Controls are pretty good. You just made it a little more interesting :)
More than 50%, though all of the content is not implemented in the test release builds yet.

I've been following this game for a while and I haven't bought it because I dont want have rebuy it every update... When is it releasing on steam?

That's the target FPS of the game :D.
Is there cheat?
Yep, press the ` (tilde) key in top left (on QWERTY keyboards) to open the console and enter commands :D. The commands are listened in the links at the top of our release posts.

Hey sorry for the delay! The naming is a bit goofy due to releases rolling out at the transition of the month -- As of today (December 11) this is the most up to date release. Our releases happen at the end of the month on SubscribeStar and are then posted here :D.

Not yet, we'll be adding a cinematic mode in the future that allows for toggling between animated cameras. You can check out some previews on our Redgifs page.

whenever i go to click the "buy now" button and click the "i already paid for this button", it takes me to the October version of the game, how do i download the newest version of the game?
Unfortunately, each iteration requires it's own purchase.

Hey, I love your game, your work, I won't ask all the details about the programing even though I'm very curious but I'd have two quick questions if you don't mind.
First are you developing that all by yourself and, just out of curiosity, are you looking for help or developers?

Are they any plans to have in game scenes with the girls other than the Fem cop? I personally feel that the Bunny girls are way too hot to only be limited to one scene with Onyx that's limited to gallery only, and the Syndicate girls are super hot too.

Hi, at first: Thank you for amazing game.. a lot of people don't understand why they have to pay every month again, I'm not happy about that also but you deserve good reward for your work so for last 14-18 month's I paid like every second month at least..
And at second: I have two questions... I spent a lot of time playing your game and I enjoyed every moment, but there's one thing that can make it even better..like a lot better and I'm talking about Sound during Sex-scenes, so first question is: when will We hear Onyx moaning..? Second question is: Will be there an option to set difficulty level in future..?
Thank you for the support :D. We'll definitely be adding voice FX. For the sake of logistics it's not something I want to do before we know the extent of the requirements. Regarding difficulty, it's possible this will be a feature of progression, however we may add additional options. We may also add something in the interim until things like missions and full stages are implemented.
Never really supported games pre-release, but I'm loving this game so far. Kudos to your team! I do have a recommendation if this is a good place for it.
The Abort Button! For those moments when privacy is unexpectedly broken, this assignable button (or combination of buttons), immediately pauses, mutes, and minimizes the game. Could even go further as having a pause screen that looks like a parody program! Just my 2 cents.

Will Onyx get a belly cum inflation animation? Where then the cum is emptied out while she is lying on the ground trying to get up and her stomach goes back to normal size?
Great progress so far on the game, it’s why I keep supporting it.
The new scene has an inflation animation, but it doesn't carry past the scene currently. We'd like to include visual status effects like this (aside from damaged clothing / liquid cover) that carry past the scene and into gameplay -- will see how it goes!
Digging the new stuff so far! Are we gonna get solo animations for the grunts or the crawlers anytime soon? Also, how far ahead and what kind of sneak peeks can people get for supporting at subscribestar, if any at all?
We've had a couple on the backburner, so we should get on them soon :D. You can actually see their concepts on the Discord (are probably buried at this point but just ask).
SubStar members get a monthly progress update that often gives looks at stuff much further out, like progress on content as it's being sculpted or concept animations. The higher tiers get access to the Discord where we do pretty much daily updates and post stuff that doesn't make it to the monthly update.
Sweet. I think I'll use substar as my way of supporting then!
