Is there any way to pay a single Large sum to get access to an actively updated download? I bought a pure onyx preview may 2023 but would like to ensure I can access every new update without having to buy it multiple times.
Once the game enters early access (probably on Steam) it will be available in that format. You can also sub to our SubscribeStar, which takes some of the hassle out if you'd like to get access to each release. SubStar has the added benefit of chonky monthly progress updates, as well as access to the Discord server for higher tiers, where we post WIP content pretty much daily and way in advance of when it arrives in-game.
There isn't currently, but gallery progress is persistent (carries over to future releases). It will only be reset when a major update requires us to do so (have only had one like this).
maybe you bought an earlier version of the game since this is basically like a patreon sub where you have to buy every monthly update till the game comes out on steam
firstly, gameplay feels much better with the lower delay, excellent job.
next, i've played a few versions of this now, and i think the biggest issue ive found is, its just too easy. to play it with the actual intent to win, you wouldn't get a single h-scene. enemies need to be a bit more aggressive, or when you get knocked down, prioritize getting close and grabbing. Although, some enemies grab attacks, like the vioreaper don't actually hit you when you're down.
I completely agree with the difficulty statements. Currently with the sandbox type gameplay you run into a bunch of enemies that you normally wouldn't encounter until later in the game, so we have to tune it toward the easy side. Another cause is Onyx's dodge is overpowered currently, especially since some enemies weren't originally designed for Onyx to have that sort of mobility and need some buffs. We'll be increasing the stamina cost of dodge in an upcoming release so it has to be used more strategically.
Charger animation is coming :D, we've been working on a few different prototypes o.o
Not yet but it's in the works. It's called cinematic mode, and you'll be able to toggle into it and between 3D cameras with a button press. Will work both in-game and in the gallery ^-^. You can check out some previews of it on our twitter or redgifs.

oh yeah, if dodge costed 50% or more stamina, that would help a lot

Yes almost certainly. We have a couple that feature some of these elements already.
